Synopsis

On a hostile London council estate, a gentle man with special needs becomes the target of cruel bullying and suspicion when he forms an innocent friendship with a troubled schoolgirl. As rumours brand him something he is not, the girl is pulled into a storm of fear and judgement while her terminally ill mother fights to protect her with the little time she has left. Damaged is a raw urban drama about prejudice, innocence, and the brutal cost of being misunderstood.
